With my thirty years of experience as a hairstylist, I realized that women have a very special relationship with their makeup. We have all these kits, filled to the brim with products, which for the most part are not adapted to our complexion or to the color of our eyes. And, when they are, very often the way we use them that isn’t efficient.

Thanks to all these years spent behind the scenes of women’s magazines, styling the stars and working alongside the world’s greatest makeup artists, I was lucky enough to learn the gestures that are essential to beautify a look or a complexion.

It was later in Los Angeles, when I started making my metamorphosis films, where I implemented a very simple protocol that allowed me and each of my clients to successfully achieve their beauty routine. But I spent a lot of time looking for products that would work for all skin tones and which they then could use with simple gestures.

Back in Paris, I ended up finding the best manufacturers to put together a kit of 9 must-have products which are suitable for everyone, whether you are a blonde, a brunette, a redhead and whether you are young or not.

These 9 products come with a makeup lesson where, in a few lines, I explain with a few easy and efficient gestures how to achieve a successful makeup, and to simply feel beautiful.

My essentials to enhance the eyes

• MY BLACK PENCIL. A must-have to intensify the base of the eyelashes.
• MY BLACK EYESHADOW. Using MY LINER BRUSH, apply on top of the pencil line to set the intensity.
• MY BLENDING BRUSH. The ideal tool to stretch your black shadow towards the outer corner of the eyelid without missteps.
• MY IRRIDESCENT EYE SHADOWS. With adjustable intensity and applied as a final touch in the center of the eyelid, these eye shadows will bring depth and luminosity to the eyes while keeping a black contrast.
• MY BLACK FELT LINER. Applied in the roots of the eyelashes, it precludes using mascara, while giving the impression of an intense fringe of false eyelashes which will instantly enhance your look.

To learn how to enhance yourself, in each pouch you will find a leaflet allowing you to learn my makeup tips and gestures.

For example, I recommend to always start your makeup with your eyes, in order to eliminate the black pigments which may have fallen under the eyes during the application of the eye shadows. But also, before putting on the foundation, always remember to clean this area again with a cotton pad soaked in makeup remover, because sometimes invisible pigments could cause or emphasize our dark circles.

Once the makeup is finished, I recommend spraying a light mist of “Eau Cellulaire” from the Esthederm institute. It’s perfect for setting your makeup, makes it look more natural and will enhance your skin.
